How accurate is the estimate?
It gives a planning range, not a bid. Quantities (cabinet linear feet, counter and backsplash square footage, tile, flooring, roof squares, siding) are read from the reconstructed room and priced against a current price book with regional multipliers for 22 US markets. Every line shows a low–high range for material and labor, plus the contingency and markup you set. It's built for scoping and the customer conversation, not as a bid — confirm on site and with your subs before anyone signs.
What photos does it need?
Two photos to start (up to 6) from a phone, shot from a corner or a doorway at chest height with as much of the room in frame as possible. Kitchens, bathrooms, and lots or exteriors all work; an empty lot starts from one of seven house styles. Plans or a LiDAR scan help but aren't required.
Can my customers use it on my website?
Yes. Your site links to Instant Quote under your own logo, name and colors. A homeowner redesigns the room and sees a price, you send them the project as a share link, and their reply (a name, a number and a note) waits for you in Instant Quote.
What does Instant Quote cost?
Two free scans, no account, no card. To put it on your website: $249, plus about $1 per scan, itemized on your invoice. Enterprise adds a price book of your own and onboarding for a team.
