How long does it take to rank in the Google map pack?
For a new profile in a moderately competitive area, expect 1–3 months of consistent work — completing the profile, adding photos steadily, and growing reviews. Distance from the searcher will always cap how far out you can rank, no matter what's optimised.
Should contractors hide their address on Google?
If you work at customer locations rather than serving customers at yours, yes — set it up as a service-area business and hide the address. Running from a home address without hiding it is a common cause of suspension.
Do you write fake reviews?
